what batteries? you might just not have enough electrical as far as batteries.

1 duralast gold 1000 CA 750CCA and 90 AH under the hood and 2 marine/generator batterys they normally used for campers they weigh 110 pounds each 1550 CA or CCA i dont remember and 180 amp hours each. what i wanna know is if 0 gauge wire can only allow 150 amps through it am i only get 150 amps out of my 270 amp alternator, that if i add another run will i get the full 270 amps?

the answer is no. 4800 watts = 480amps, you have 270 amps, your always going to have voltage drop unless you have more supply than demand, also most 0/ gauge will handle 270 to 350 amps depending on strand count .and most will say 1000 watts =100 amps . hope this helps
