can get two for a little over $400 and 3k+ Wrms. Supposedly they do rated, i havent heard anything bad about them on these forums. the amps are fused at 160 a piece, so they do something.

I hope you have the electrical though to push 2k+.

you guys are wrong about this one, the RE XTX5000.1 is a better amp than every amp you guys are talking about. The power is clean, and the amp does rated power. It's also a well designed amp. I wouldn't recomend n e one buying a AQ amp, I've never seen them do n e thing but fail. The Cresendo amps are over priced, you might as well call BOB at AB and get the same amp for less, same with the Brutus amps, except the brutus amps are made with cheaper components, so they cost less. I really think none of you guys have n e hands on experience with the RE XTX5000.1, but US Amps still does good work on amps.

Lol. That amp is junk. All of RE's amps are just minus their VLX line which they decided to discontinue.

Yeah because AQ amps just fail all the time 24/7. I wouldn't even touch new RE amps... I'd love an old school Us amps amp tho..

ive always thought of RE as being decent quality, same lines as AQ/sundown/DC/skar ect, what makes these amps junk? they said before that they would be trying to do right on their amp line, and their subs arnt that bad either.

so how do you know this amp is junk? did clamp tests? ran it in a SQ format and got negative numbers because of sloppy sound? please do tell..

I didn't realize it nwas an old thread until after I posted it. I had a customer bring the tread to my attention, who has the RE XTX5000.1 and it absolutly slams as well as everyone else that I've sold that amp to. This was a question of worth, and for the $400 ish price you'll pay for this amp, it's smoking the others. And as far as AQ is concerned, I have purchased many AQ amplifiers and all of them get a low gain issue after about 9-12 mmonths of use, and I'm talking using them for street beating, they also like to burn up. I'm also aware of the power issues also, and in 4 out of the 5 AQ amps I'm referring to, the user had the power to back it. If you google the RE XTX5000.1 this thread comes up almost at the top of the page, therefore it still has relevence. I wanted to make sure that someone researching this amp tht will probably read this add gets the review of someone who deals with this amp on a regular basis, and not some reviews that judgeing this amp because of other RE XTX amps that I'd have to admit aren't that great, or RE amps from the past few years that haven't been that great. Also, of course the older US Amp stuff is better, all the back in the day stuff is better, Hell I'm still rolling with my Memphis 4kw, because none of this new stuff beats it. Not trying to start trouble, just giving my experience, good day fellas
