Is it enough?

I just want some advice from the audio experts on SMD. In my daily driver (1995 integra) I have the following equipment:

Stock alt (90amp)

1- Deka AGM battery (same specs as an XS D1200) under the hood

1- Northstar SNB170FT Telecom battery in the rear

Big 3 done with KNU 1/0 doubled up.

1 run of 1/0 power from front to rear and 1 of ground.

3- HDC312A's subs

1- db drive platinum 2000.1d

My plan is to add a second db drive 2k and strap them at .66. Do you think this electrical will hold it?

Voltage right now at full tilt and idle drops to mid 12s. Do you think it would be better to start with a larger amp alt or simple more battery? Thanks for the advice in advance.

I'm planing to add a second stock alt for the time being until i can fund buying a built one. High amp Alts are not very common for honda's lol. My only issue for another battery is trying to figure out where to put it...

honestly i always favor getting an higher output alt before getting tons of batteries. If you do decide to go the route of getting batteries to help offset the voltage dropping so low you would need to get a battery charger and charge the batteries up overnight so they are fresh the next day.

To be honest I don't know if your 1/0 is really making that much of a difference on a 90 amp alt. Personally I would get a h/o alternator before a second battery let alone a third.

Your 90a alternator is not up to the task. Your car is using much of that, so even if you have half of it available for audio your peak output will only support about 500w.

I build 220a units for Civics all the time, building one right now for a 97. I could do one for your car easily.
