Ihad this amp for over 2 years now I have installed at least 10 of these amps and none of them have blown yet. Under voltage at under impedance is a baaaaad combination. I don't doubt that it will push a 1 ohm bridged load, but not daily and definitely NOT at low voltage! Any amp will blow if you do that. The AP draws a lot of current even at 2 ohms bridged. If your electricals are not overkilled, then you shouldn't dream of running this thing at low impedance... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

loganberry Posted December 6, 2011 Report Share Posted December 6, 2011 Damn that sucks, I've burped them and played them at .5 daily and they would go into protect but never had an, then again i have a really strong electrical and never had a issue I never ran at 2 ohms either it was always at 1 ohm can't believe you had that one blow and usps ruin the other one....a little saying my great grandpa used to say "if you didn't have bad luck you would have no luck at all" get them both fixed flip them and then get a DC amp :-) btw I'm out of the hospital finally and pmed you the info you needed I think.
