Properly mounting subs ???

Can Someone please tell me how to properly mount subs because Im totally lost I hear about Hurricane nuts, T nuts, Dry wall screws and I don't even know the size screws and drill bits to buy can someone please tell me how to do this.

Yeah those are T-nuts but I dont know what to do with them just everyone said to use T-nuts when I checked on other websites

You don't know what to do with them? You put them in your subs mounting holes.

you place the sub in the cut out hole, take a driller and drill through the mounting openings of the sub (or mark them with a puncher and hammer). after that you take the sub out and drill bigger holes where you have marked the sub´s mountings. the holes have to be as wide as the t-nuts are so you can push them from the other side through the holes. to fix the t-nuts use screws and a hammer. after that youre ready to get your sub mounted real tight.

Put the nut underneath, put the proper screw in through the top, tighten it until the teeth bite into the wood.

3/32" bit and 1 5/8" coarse drywall screws is what I use for 99% of the subs out there. AQ/DD 18's have bigger holes, so I use SPAX 1 5/8" screws that have an oversized head on them and higher holding strength...

Don't use t-nuts...they're nice until the end in the box comes loose and it just spinning when you try to unscrew it.

Just use coarse drywall screws

I use 1 1/2 in wood deck screws. They bite seriously hard and I've never stripped one.
