austin2162 Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 Hello every one im new to these forums and i need some box help im going to by 4 18" and build a box for them. i drive a 95 ford explorer the trunk space can only get up to 17.32 cubic feet(including port and woofer displacement) this comes down to 4.32 cubic feet per woofer. the box is tuned at 33 hz im buying pyrimad 18" 1k rms 4 ohms is that going to work well. and sound good? What amp are you running to the subs? What the other guys are trying to say.... is that pyramid doesn't make high quality products, and if you build your box right it will probably cost more than your subs. It is advisable to run 1 good quality sub rather than multiple poor quality ones.
