soundstream15 Posted January 10, 2012 Report Posted January 10, 2012 dual 4 subs cant be wired to 2ohms....only 4 or 1 ohms..now dual 2 can be wired at 2 or half ohm..thats what alot of ppl dont understand when there new to car audio..i dont like audiobahn at all i think there junk just IMO...but if you have someone build u a box then they can get loud..as well as your amps will not even put out 1000w..both amps will prob peak around 600-800..id deff sell them and get a good amp..once you get a good amp and box then you will be very happy, but also do the big 3 and add a extra battery in the back..what kind of power n ground wire you got..cuz that is just important as amps n subs

I just upgraded my wires from 16ga to 4ga and i noticed no diff at all. Uhgg i guess ive got a long way to go befor i can really shake the block down. Holy shit. x2 might as well have been using a lamp cord. the big 3, wire sizes, fuses, etc. is nothing thats meant to help you get louder. its SAFETY. these are things you need to do to help your amplifier work effectively and not burn up as well as stop the wires from melting and causing a fire inside your car! those are two things no one wants to see happen but we all have seen some poor bastard who messed up and lost their car. the best advice i could ever give you is to go to bcae1.com and read as much as you can. for now, look at the "wire" section and play with their calculators. it'll give you a great look at what you need.
