carshateme Posted January 14, 2012 Author Report Posted January 14, 2012 Hard to tell, but did you go from 2 drivers in the sealed boxes to 3 drivers in the ported box? the 2 subs are in a sealed box. the 3 subs are in a ported box and that is what I thought, I just wasn't sure about it. Any single or combination of those things will result in what you are noticing. What ohm are the subs and how are they wired? I have all 3 parallel wired at 1 ohm to the amplifier. The gain is set at 0. HU is at -4 bass dB, +10dB sub The sub sonic filter is set at 35hz, rca is good, ground is good. New build coming soon. I know a lot less about how enclosures work but it would seem to me that all the subs moving in the same direction would create a certain amount of pressure to help control the cone, where as a sub moving in the opposite direction would lower the pressure and there would be less cone control. Maybe it doesn't work like that though. But the wiring it self would not cause a problem in how much they move.
