will77530
how are you deciding who is louder? term lab or by ear?
Brandonrcm
What do I think? That even if you had a termlab there the guy would say his shits louder, or even if he didnt act like he was louder that he wouldn't give up the truck. Tell him you want it in writing and notarized. distinktbean
well your buddy is sitting on 72 inches of cone area to his 40 inches, but he also has 1000w on you. i would say youd be safe to take the bet but it also depends on how the setups are done. just because its a wall doesnt automatically make it loud. i witnessed a guy with an explorer at a spl contest only hit a 145 with a wall of i think 3 18inch subs.(idk what the power was)
Esaul
I wonder if he would actually give up his truck
rogue
so what was he supposed to get if he won? this is just a bad bet in everyway at this point. He cant win even if he wins. BassJunkie
If its being judged by TL i'd be putting alot of tuning time into it. As stated earlier just because its a wall doesn't mean its going to be louder, look at alot of SS No Wall cars/trucks in db drag doing some pretty good numbers. I'd say you have your work cut out for you and it won't be as easy as you think to be louder on less power.
