Miguels Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 you have 1 300a alt plus a stock one?you might want to do 1 more run of power wire, no point on having the extra amperage if you dont have the wire to back it up Quote my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
sphinxbccp Posted January 30, 2012 Report Posted January 30, 2012 I only have one running from the front battery to the rear bank and then the front battery is grounded to the fender. All my back batteries are ground to each other and then separately under the truck to the frame. My voltage now stays mid 13's all day with the 4 Kinetik 2400 in the rear.Like N8 said you can never have too many. I've always wondered if it was ok too have different amounts of power and grounds, like 2 runs of ground and 3 or 4 of power? Don't mean to thread jack!!
