Pulled into a party store and he blocked me in and flipped out on me. Think they need to get to know us before judging us. Like the old saying goes "don't judge a book by it's cover." Just cause we have that bass does not mean we are all bad people. It is relaxing to me. Especially when their own website states "loud DISTORTED bass" can cause hearing damage.... Hence the popularity of the SMD DD-1 and its distortion busting capabilities...last time I met a real basshead that was happy about distortion was, well...never. This tool bag seems to think we are all idiots, and that we like running our equipment(expensive equipment to boot) at distorted levels, last time I checked, distortion wrecks our gear and that is something we try to not do. And Im still waiting for this group to post the scientiftic data to support their claims that loud music can cause cellular disruption and damage... ? On a cellular level you say? So i might melt into a pile of goo from my loud, clean sounding music? Well the way my ears feel after I get out of my ride after bumping is the same way my ears feel after I left a concert I was front row in. So, if bumping is bad, then so are concerts. And concerts are louder. And if they was to bring science into it. It would not prove there claims. It would help us out. Do not think that they know what all goes into a system. All the work and tuning and all that. Think then they will realize how wrong they are. Ecco Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 For my single 10" sub, I think it's the same as a diesel engine. If they wanna ban diesel engines along with subs, they'd have a bunch of upset people, especially over here.
