RyanJ
Is it difficult to drive stick while bumping music? I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's not HARD but is it difficult to get used too? My first car is a 05 honda accord stick and I'm just going to put a single sa-12 with an aq1200d in it, and I was just wondering how it's like. I know with manual, you have to listen to your engine to know when to shift, so I mean, would bumping affect that? Just want to hear how people get used to it. That's all. Once you drive for a while you will just know when to shift without even thinking. I'm guessing a single 12 shouldn't give you any problems I have never had a problem with it. 150+ might be a different story but i wouldn't know Edited February 6, 2012 by MrSkippyJ Quote F150: Stock 2019 Harley Road Glide: Amp: TM400Xad - 4 channel 400 watt Processor: DSR1 Fairing (Front) 6.5s -MMats PA601cx Lid (Rear) 6x9s - TMS69
OrionStang
Do you have a tach? Even without it, you'll eventually learn the vehicle and know when to shift. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
BeatBox
with mine i can feel it the gas pedal, so FOR ME its not hard at all even with out the feel ive gotten used to it and can just shift at the right times
RCP Audio
ive only got 2 12"s on 400rms each. Once you get used to the car changing gear is natural anyway. I dont have a rev counter and have learnt what speed my car like to change at so i use that as a rough guide Quote PSN: Rcp_soundz Good rule of thump is go by what fuse size is being used in these amps. The higher the more amperage it pulls, this is what I look at. I'll stick a 300 amp fuse in a potato and sell it to you for $2k. 1991 Mazda 323VERY small build thread here: http://www.stevemead...23-small-build/
Ballen194
youll get used to it pretty quick. youll be jackin with your stereo and shift and go back to jackin with your stereo without even noticing. you get the "feel" of your engine and even with a tach youll eventually just stop looking at it and go with the "feel". IMO i wouldnt worry about it. Quote 98 Isuzu Rodeo Pioneer Deh-6300ub SUBS*Upcoming* SSA Xcon 18 4th order AMP Banda 3500 Mids/Highs Pioneer EQ Clarion EQS746 ETC. 95legwagon
once you learn the car it'll be second nature..... had a pt cruiser 5 speed with a single 12 n couldnt hear the engine n i was still fine...... if anything look at your speed before each shift so you know what speed you get to before each gear..... IF you dont have a tach. if i were you i would drive it hard a few times just to really get used to it. thats what i do Quote i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit.
