Trying to decide if its worth it to add the extra runs in my truck. Ask yourself would rather have 1400 amps of current flowing thru the steel frame or copper wire? Defiantely worth it for my application, yes each alt has two 1/0 grounds that run to the rear battery bank. I also have grounds that go from that bracket to frame 4 1/0s. Plus my rear battery voltage is .1 different front to rear whether I am pulling 1000 amps or 100. No they are just acting like an idle pulley when off, mechman said they will be fine.
