CleanSierra
Firebirds have always looked nicer. Different taillights, front clip, interior gauges are different. Wheels are also different as well as exhaust note is noticeably different. It's the same argument as a Chevy truck being the same as a GMC( which they are). But why do guys prefer one over the other? Because of looks, that's why.... Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
photochrisb931
Like has been said basically the same car. There are pros and cons to each. The only thing I see as a drawback on the Firebirds is the pop up headlights. Admittadely, I am a pontiac fan but I hate pop ups. Also, does one have t-tops and one a solid roof? I would vote for the solid roof for security and lack of maintenance on the seals. Mechanically a GM v-8 is pretty bullet proof and even the 3.8L is a darn good 6. So really which one has been taken better care of and has lower miles. That would be how I would decide the choice. Quote Barstad

CleanSierra
Do you actually HAVE two specific cars in mind for this purchase, or is this a,"at some point I'm getting one of these cars" kind of thread. If you have 2 cars specifically that you're comparing, show us pics and info about each one. And for this car to be a 'forever' car isn't too realistic. Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll.
