LoudPursuit
Hey guys, so I have a predicament. I was just offered my dream job (a position that involves everything I studied in school) in north America's largest company that provides this service. (don't want to give too many details away). I will be accepting an offer from them tomorrow but I have a problem, how to quit my current job. The only reason this is an issue is because my current employer created my position for me and my current manager is somewhat of a mentor. What would you do in my situation? OrionStang
Just tell the mentor whats up. And be sure to give some timeline if they need to replace you. Not a big deal if you don't make it one. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread

lifted_silverado
2 week notice is the best way, leave on good terms so if something doesnt work you can always go back. Explain the situation and hope they understand. Quote Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year.
