And one to compare the mounting depth of the p3 to the 6.75 (the 6.75 is a bit dusty lol)

I might have to borrow that idea. I have 3 sets of T1675-S's going into my truck. adding a pair of P3 8's would be cool.

I don't know why i didn't buy these in the first place instead of the p2 8's. I guess i thought i had more room than i actually did lol. But I was amazed when i sat them next to the T1's and saw they had the same mounting depth. I just sat one of these down in the kicks today and it looks like it will be a real nice fit and not even get in the way of my foot and the clutch.

I'm going to wire a skar 85.4 to these, so each channel to each coil. Like front/rear left to the left sub and front/rear right to the right sub. So, ideally each sub should see 170 watts and they are rated at 150.

The funny thing is it doesn't even look like an 8 next to the T1, but the T1's are 6 3/4's so i guess that makes a difference.

Wish me luck on glassing the kick pods!

Started on the Kickpods for the p3's.

The Driver side is going to be tight tight tight. Passenger side should be cake.

So, Test fit, find the angle i like, make a cardboard template, transfer to 1/2" MDF, cut, test fit, tape, lay mat and resin, wait....

That is where i am at right now, it's a hot bitch today. I am going to run to town and get more mat and cool down a bit then lay another layer on this and do the other side. Hopefully these won't take too long. Since most the glass work will be hidden I hope to avoid as much sanding as possible.

Thanks for looking and commenting!
