He has some great quality gear in that truck, a lot of the stuff that not mane use anymore, or even aware it exists! I was gonna nominate him too! The truck, the build, the equipment, all gorgeous! He deserves more recognition than he receives. Truely a deserving system to win a SOTM! Noobtastic14
At some point years ago the decision was made that mods cannot enter SOTM because they can tamper with the voting. I am pretty sure that after several upgrades to the forum mods cannot influence the voting so are mods allowed to enter?! If so, I'll throw my estimated 750wrms into the mix -Drew I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. RooTxBeeR
OMG!!! Finally one for the guys on budget systems! Well Here is my system, I am running an Alpine MRV-F250 only with channels 1+2 on the subs and 3+4 on the rear 6x9's the front 6.5 Co-Axials are running off the HU, which is 25 watts total I believe, does not exceed 50. I have a stock alt, but never get any dimming in power or any signs of voltage drop that you can tell with out a voltage meter. So I can't say exactly what the voltage is exactly but you can get a figure as to what my stages are seeing. I have the 6x9s wired straight @ 4 ohms and the subs are wired down to 2 ohms. Here is the amps specs: - RMS Continuous Power output (@ 12.0V 20 Hz to 20 kHz) 25 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms, 0.08% THD 35 watts x 4 @ 2 ohms, 0.3% THD 70 watts bridged into 4 ohms, 0.3% THD - Dynamic Power (@ 14.4V, 20 Hz to 20 kHz) 40 watts x 4 @ 4 ohms, 0.08% THD 50 watts x 4 @ 2 ohms, 0.3% THD 100 watts bridged into 4 ohms, 0.3% THD Total RMS: 170-200 (Depending on voltage, and not incorperating imdependence rise) Here are some videos of the system. With this small power I can get my hatch to flex, and a small amount of steering wheel dancing. They are older but the system is still slammen! I am so happy to see this one this month, and I wish everyone the best luck! Build log here. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/112813-91-civic-hatchback-been-waiting-to-post-this/page__gopid__1577778#entry1577778 Edit: I know it says no bare boxes, I don't plan on ever carpeting or painting my box only because it's not going to be permanent and don't want to waste any resources I don't have. It seems like I phrased my initial post wrong. The qustion wasn't so much "can mods enter?" but more, "should reds and blues be able to enter now that they cannot influence the voting? because if so I want in" Either way you also pointed out that i posted it in the wrong section, my mistake. -Drew I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional.
