Help On Battery Bank...

Recommended Posts

Okay, so after doing my homework, i figured that in a worse case scenerio @ 10.5v, I would need a bank containing 1012AH of battery power to keep sufficient power to my system. Trying to get some help from you guys. I am not real familiar with different brands and battery types. Can you guys help me out with a battery combination that can supply me with around 1000AH?

Got one 300 amp alt. Running four AQ2200's and gonna be one AQ4x90...or whatever the new 4chan amp is they are coming out with. Right now its a Hifonics 110x4. And I'm driving a ford focus, so honestly there is no more room for multiple alts.

4 XS Power XP3000s will do the trick. Pick them up during the group buy and you can get them for $272 shipped each. Dont go cheap on your batteries, you will end up regretting it. XS Power makes it very easy to figure out how many batteries you need since their batteries are designed for Car Audio use and they put a power rating on each of them. aH ratings dont tell you anything when using the batteries for car audio purposes.

Lol. So you would have ended up with 10

g31s when you'll be straight and good with 4 group 31s .

I guess that's a good calculation ? Lol

But having more does nothing BUT HELP ! So if you a baller and want overkill. Go for it the 1000 ah batts !
