Has Audiobahn ever made anything decent?

Recommended Posts

This thought has crossed my mind from time to time. Before I started hearing about real audio, I had an A12001DT amp that pushed almost everything I threw at it and never gave up on me in the year and a half I had it. 1 ohm stable, the flashy LED voltage meter and LED clipping indicator, 4-way circuit protection, dual fans, the works. Lol

From what I've heard, they used to pull their own weight back in the day. Since they were bought out I've heard they've just gone down the crapper.

I had always heard decent things about the Immortal series, I planned on getting one but wasn't sure if I could trust the name with my money.

The first Immortal series were OK, but then they changed and used the flame baskets and performance went down.

The flame Qs were OK, My pal had the 1208Ts I think, they were the higher end and they broke apart easily.

When I was a dealer the smaller series would have magnets falling off right out of the box.

I saw a guy selling 6 of these on eBay a couple weeks ago. If I remember right, these were the only woofers Audiobahn made with neo motors, correct?

The immortal series was decent, they were designed by DD

Correct.

The first round Immortals were a beast. Then they change buildhouses and they imploded on them self.

The A4KDN and the 1800d's were an awesome amp. I ran..... err let me say beat the fuckin piss out of the 1801's i had in my excursion back in the day. I would run those amps again now in a heartbeat.

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
