Head unit- Kenwood Excelon KDC-X695 Front doors- Rockford Fosgate 6.5" Prime components Rear doors- Rockford Fosgate 4" Punch coaxials Sub amp- Audiopipe AP18001d Subs- Two American Bass TNT 10"s Box- 2.6 cubes @ 34hz, 36in of port Big 3 & run of Raptor 1/0 to rear powercell TEAM 808 UPSTATE NY. Can it be heard 2 blocks away, thats how i rate systems.

Then whatever frequency sounds loudest/best should be the resonant frequency of your vehicle. Could be 100% completely wrong though, but figured it's better than what hasn't been posted Build in progress

Loslam Posted March 12, 2012 Report Posted March 12, 2012 That's pretty much right, just a sealed box and whatever frequency peaks the highest is very close to the vehicle's natural frequency. Bigger volume cars/trucks/suvs generally have a lower peak, smaller - higher (lower/higher as in frequency) 1997 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab, 350 Vortec Things to come at some point... You have to factor in exact displacement of your enclosure amps etc. If you just stick a ten in a 1 cube box and then you wall off youre going to be totally off.
