skaraudio
Or incorrect wiring. As you don't have a DMM troubleshooting will be difficult. Try bringing it to your local shop with a DMM as you said and let me know the findings please! ^_^ Gem132
I bought a dmm will see what I'm wired to, bit I followed the Rockford wiring wizard to get 2 dual 4ohm subs down to 1ohm so I'm hoping I didn't stuff up along the way. Could it be the suspension is just a little more lose on the one subwoofer than the other that's why it has more excursion ?? Cos it seems the sound is slowly going away the more I play them Pioneer deh-80prs2 10" Tantric Sounds HD's Ported Box Tuned to 33hzSoundqubed 3500.1Hertz HSK 165Tantric Sounds 6.5" Coaxials80sq ft of MurdermatXs Power D3400 & D3100 Sky High Car Audio Cable Throughout

pimpnFosgates
my vvx8s are doing the same thing and ive been rocking em for a while. i have in wired to 1 ohm also. i used 12volt.com wiring diagram and i was wondering the same thing. why one had wicked excursion but one barely moved. ill check my coils whenever i get a dmm. but my sub isnt making noise and they pound good. just one punds harder.
