Thanks for the input though and if u can find comparable subs for the same price u did better than me lol. I considered lvl 2s and 3s, obsidian, sundown, everyone lol. For the money and power handling, kicker was what I felt the best choice lol. getlocivic Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 12g is a little overkill for 500w but i at least use the same size wire as the tinsel leads and honeslty i sundown sa or the like in a proper ported box would be better than 2 subs.. that way u dont have to compromise airspace etc etc

My main goak with this build is to be louder than this guy who has a two door cavi lol. Dno what he has but I wanna be louder haha. Next time around will be a box built in the trunk and ported out of the package tray i think.
