Bassilove2131
Hello everyone I'm stuck on wat to run between three 18zv3's or four 15 zv3's. Both setups will have the same size enclousure which will be about 12 cubes after woofer and port displacements. Roughly about 190 to 200 square inches of port . Amplifiers are two crescendo bc3500s strapped @1 ohm. I want interchangeable ports, one for 38 hz and one for 32hz. Also stuck on wether to run aero ports or slot ports . I read that aero ports can get you louder but are expensive. I was told I would need either four 8 inch or seven 6 inch aero ports. I mean is it really worth the extra money or will slot ports work just as well. And this will be going in a jeep Cherokee. My available space is 43 w. 22h. 34L. Any help will be much appreciated. SnowDrifter
If you can make it work: I'd do the 3 15s. Roughly the same cone area of the 18s, but more motor force and coil to dissipate heat Edit: reading > me. lol I'd do the 15s because the would breathe better. Even though sundown says 4 cubes per 18, that seems waaaayyy small. jmanjr82
Your not walling it? Slot port would be easier to do and fairly spot on with aeros. Its really a builders world. The 18s would be the more cone area, the 15s would be the more motor force and coils. Honestly I think its more about what your personally trying to do. I like the 4-15 idea better personally for my own personal reasons. If cost would be a factor I would venture to say the 18s would be the cheaper route.
