You could always test it out and if it hurts your score just take it out. I've heard some people have gotten gains from deadener on the inside some haven't. It would all depend on how you do it I guess...

Have you ever tried to take this stuff off of anything? The only way to take it off would be to take the whole box out and start over.

Yeah when I removed the material from the MDF it took some bits and pieces with it. That and who would want to waste perfectly fine and awesome sound deadening?

I had to take some alpha damp off in my trunk so I could weld...... wow that took us longer than anything else.... I was sitting there pulling as hard as I could in a dealift standing in my trunk..... well we both were must of looked funny as hell

took prolly 20 min each sheet, and I was lucky they were the side peices so they weren't stuck as good as the rest....

Let's just say I refuse to take any more off haha
