Tuning to 32-34hz in that truck isn't going to help you spl wise imo, you may gain some low end response.

A buddy of mine has an h3 doing mid 50's with his good subs. Temporarily has 2 18" jls while waiting for his recones. With the JL's its right around the 50 mark with less than 3000 clamped. My suggestion would be to strengthen your box and get some meter time in.

18" jl's? Ummmmm....

But to the op, you will have to find you vehicles peak frequency and go from there. A higher tuning dose not always mean more output it is completely dependent of the vehicle. It takes allot of trial and error to get it right.

sub and port direction can have a big influence on your metering...that's why people are asking about the setup of your box...

are the subs up, back, forward.....are the ports up, back, forward..to the side...? answering this basic question will help get you some valueable advice

its not hard to get 18;s over a 150 but your givining us NO INFO so you can not be helped untill we get pics or some real info

pics are coming, i just figured out that i needed a photobucket account, btw i just realized that my box is aprox. 4 inches away from the back door...so im gonna have to figure out if its to close.

your ports arent flared.

corners arent rounded

round off the sub cutouts on the back side.

those are little things you can work on to net you a gain.
