Amart88
Well, I will be hooking up my new BC3500's when the weather gets nice again. I am running 2 Fi N2 15's (Dual 2) and want to know if I should strap the crescendos or have them seperate? I was planning on running each woofer paralell to each amp at one ohm with 2 positive and 2 negitive runs to each woofer but if I strap them it would change everything? If I dont strap them, what is the best way to gain match? I don't have a cc-1 only a dd-1. Thanks Quote My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled. flwatersaver
I have my dual 2 ohm subs strapped on two 3.5k's. I have each woofer wired to 4ohm and then the final load on the strapped amps is 2ohm. I would want more than that so I guess i'll run them seperate. anf figure out this gain matching deal. Also anyone know if you can use one remot eknob with a splitter with these amps? BeAlLsTaR13
Why don't you just strap them @ 2 ohm...won't need to worry about gain matching (unless you buy a CC-1) and won't have to worry about a splitter to use a single remote knob Quote Team Sundown Audio**CURRENT** -- 2012 Scion tC Build Click Here **OLD** -- 2002 Pontiac Grand AM Build Click Herecheck them out, slap me a comment2002 Pontiac Grand AM SE 2.2l 4 cylinder ecotec.-------------------------------------------------------------------Head Unit - Alpine CDA-9887Subs - 2x Z 12 v.2s - v.3 + NS Soft partsAmplifier - Sundown Audio SAZ-3500DEnclosure - 3.33 Cubes tuned to 34.66hzFront Stage - JBL P660c 6.5" ComponentsRear Deck - Powerbass 4xl 6.5" Mid-RangeFront Stage Amplifier - Sundown Audio SAX-100.4DWires - Kicker Hyperflex 1/0, KnuKonceptz 1/0, Knu 4 and 8 Gauge, Kicker RCAsElectrical - 275 AMP DC Power H/O Alternator, XS Power S3400, XS Power D2700Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/BeAILsTaR13-------------------------------------------------------------------

I want to run them each at one ohm I dont want a 3500 watt amp putting out 2000 watts. and its more straight forward to wire when they are seperate? I hate having 2 wires crammed into one terminal. I would like them strapped, but i though I could just strap them so each one was paralell to each woofer but I guess not. I don't see why they can't make amps that allow you controll both without strapping. I'm lost Edited April 25, 2012 by Amart88 Quote My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled. n8ball2013
if you strap at two ohm each amp sees a one ohm load. you are way overcomplicating this. if you strap at one each amp sees .5 just strap the amps. memphisBred
Wire a pos from one coil to a negative of the other coil. Do that for both subs. Wire the two remaining positives to the positive of the master amp. Wire the two remaining negatives to the positive of the slave amp. Connect the two ground terminals of the master amp to the two ground terminals of the slave amp. Run your RCA to the master amp. Run your bass knob to the master amp. Connect one side of a RCA from the Master to the Slave. Switch Slave amp to Slave. You shouldn't have two wires in one terminal if your strapping. You should do some more research on how things work before you go playing around with "7000" watts before you blow shit up. Have you even opened the manual or looked at specs? Clearly states 7000 w rms strapped @ 2 ohm mono... Amart88
So they say strappable at 2 ohm. Does this mean that each woofer will see 1 ohm? also dont want to have the amp running below reccomended impedence if i can help it Quote My 2005 s10 blazer build. 4 zcon 18's walled.
