Smart Amp with automatic gain control

So as brought up in the DD-1 thread on setting gains.

Why not come out with an amp that takes the guess work out of setting gains. A self adjusting smart amplifier.

I did a search for it and it is possible but there is not any available that I am aware of

Like what plate amps for home theater subwoofers have where they self limit?

if it was totally self adjusting then when you turn the volume down at the HU the gain would turn up to compensate for the lower input voltage. thats the paradox i see.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

I don't think there would be a big market for it considering the big price tag that would come with it. The ones who would spend that much would probably prefer to have control over the gain themselves. Then there would be skeptics who wouldn't trust it.

And the fact more than one person agrees does not make it a circle jerk, it makes it a bukkake scene and you're in the middle ;)

Chick took 3 shots of Jager, and then, pissed in my mouth..

Could be a switch for full auto or manual mode.

I think maybe a high limit switch or something might be cool, go over input voltage and it pulls down the input sensitivity. But like DJ said, could you trust it?
