Omega5002 Posted May 3, 2012 Report Posted May 3, 2012 Are you not listening. It won't work for xxxs hell its not even ideal for what he's running now. His box now was built for the BTLs right? and yeah buddy if i were you i would hit up a designer and have a box built to match YOUR subs so you will have max output. I think he said he originally built that box for 4 RE MT's, then he put BTL's, then the SMD's. I also remember him mentioning that he wanted to rebuild a new box for the SMD's Though I also agree that the OP should have someone design a box for those XXX's 2003 Kia Sorento Team Subsonic LowsTeam Bassin' on a Budget2016 Rebuild Under Construction Best score: 150.2 at 40hz (3k, 2 Custom HDC3 15's) Usaci style(door open, in the kick)
Robby Holmes Posted May 4, 2012 Report Posted May 4, 2012 if you can't comprehend anything else off of this thread, refer to my last post on page one. i've done extensive research on the RE Audio XXX series. and I'm telling you what each sub likes. the 12's like ~4 cubic feet. 15's like ~4.5 cubic feet. and the 18's like 6 cubic feet. yes that is per sub. if your going to run 4 18's, your best bet is to build a CUSTOM box that ~24 cubes. but you need to make room for the massive 54mm one way xmax. so, long story short, stop being retarded, make up your own build, and take advice before you throw money at people to "makez mah shits dew duh deebeez >9000" Are you not listening. Hugh G. Rection Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 he's not going to give it out....take the measurements(easy) and contact a designer to come up with something for you he doesnt have to give out the measurements. there are some good pics of this thing out there, and i do alot of work in reverse engineering. a clone of that box is easy. a good pic is all i need, and there are alot of them out there. lol Owner of BigAss Ports
Emmet Posted May 5, 2012 Report Posted May 5, 2012 You thought the smd's would be 3500 apiece? I don't think you got dropped on your head as a baby...
