I feel you on the surround, I had the same thing happen 2 different times on my lvl 5 12s, I was on a 7.5k kind of sucks.

Interesting...

What was your fix?

I'm on my second glue job and I'm doubting it'll fix it so I'm more then likely going to be due for a recone.... <_<

Are you the original purchaser of the Koni's?

If yeah you should be covered under the lifetime warranty.

Lifetime warranty...? Waaaaa?

Unfortunately I'm not, the previous owner purchased them...

Wick, to bring back the rear suspension, try OEM non sport rear coil springs. BMW also make 5,10, and 15 mm rubber isolators.

I have BavAuto's lowering coil springs , and Adjustable Camber kit up front, with Monroe "BMW sport" shocks which are 1.5" shorter than standard.

The rear are standard height rear springs, with non sport shocks, and 10 or 15mm isolators. As you may know, the E36, the rear wheel well sits lower than the front. After 97, they changed that and made them even. Anyway, my combo has been done before, and fixes this problem. I bet you can do the same with stock height coil springs.

Interesting...

You suppose there would be any issues using different springs between the front and rear?

Ultimately my goal would be to cut that weight down with lithium batteries and supercaps rather then compensate for it which might be a bit in the future due to cost but I appreciate the suggestions! :good:

i think it would ride differently if you put the stock springs back in. it may or may not be an issue. i would rather see helper bags in current rear springs. but im not wild about those either. if you dont have the tallest spring pad in, id get those in asap. thats what I did on my ride when I lowered.
