Home renovations are mostly done for the moment so I had a chance to get back to my trunk :D

My 360.3 remote has not been working at all for the past many months.

I tracked it down to what appears to be the Ethernet cable which connects the remote to the processor.

If I run a new Ethernet cable to the present remote or use the new cable with a new remote, they work fine.

If I use the existing cable, I get nothing but issues.

So to change this simple little cable requires.........

862-360%20wire_zpswd7akzzy.jpg

861-360%20wire_zpsaldi0ilm.jpg

863-360%20wire_zpsddoiqqxt.jpg

Pretty much tearing apart my entire build........

:(

The drawbacks of having so much stuff crammed into a tiny trunk and have it covered with trim panels.

Anyway I removed the old Ethernet cable and tested it on my laptop with it connected to my DSL router.......sure enough it worked fine in that application. :aggresive:

So I'm not sure if Fosgate uses the cable differently but it sure didn't work in the car.

I haven't gotten the trunk put back together yet.

Since its apart, I may jump into some other things that need attention.

I really hope that fixes the issue though cuz its pretty annoying to not have any volume control when driving around.

It works....but no tunes. <_<

I did ride the bike yesterday though...........and it rained again.
