Dfrancis24
Can a Rockford fosgate t2500-1bd run at 0.5 ohms with every day use
RooTxBeeR
They are 1 ohm stable, I am sure if you have the electrical to handle it you can try it out but I would not suggest running it at .5 ohm saily if you have to ask. wizart383
Why would you run it at 0.5 ohms? that amp was designed to put out 2500 watts @1,2 and 4 ohms.

That too, also if you want more power, dish up a bit more for the bdCP and that thing will do 3200 give or take a bit at 1 ohm and rated at 2 ohms. Skullz
Blowing rockford amps aren't cheap to fix and will cost quite a bit to repair, why people have a fetish running below rated ohm loads is taking a chance on blowing subs and amps for no reason other than being to damn cheap to buy another amp. ChevyBoy95
get the bdCP version and run at 2 ohms instead of .5 which you should never do with a 1 ohm stable amp. RooTxBeeR
2 D1 will go down to 1 ohm or 4 ohm on a single amp Quote On 11/20/2012 at 8:54 PM, AMI CUSTOMS said: Turned mine up today at a light, guy next to me his steering wheel started moving and he looked over at me like I was a magician lol. CleanSierra
Depending on box and imp rise, you might sneak above 1 ohm. Fosgate amps will go into protect with .5 load. Why do people want people want to run .5 ohm these days.?!?!!? Quote Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
audiofanaticz
The amp will be ran at .35 ohms because the subs in the other thread are dual 2ohm mayhems, which are not really dual 2 ohm coils, they are dual 1.4ohms, which brings it down to .35 ohms. Those amps do not like to run much lower than .7ish ohms, or they like to go snap crackle pop.
