1/0 Reducer question...

There is absolutely not one need in any possible way at all even a little bit to use 0g on that amp. If, and ONLY if you still feel a need to run 1/0 to it. You still put a 60 amp anl fuse 6" from the battery and if you don't trust the fuses on the amp 6" from the amp as well.

Why would you put a fuse on the power wire 6 inches from the amp if the amp has on board fusing? It is completely pointless.

I've learned from US Amps that you can't always trust the onboard fusing.

run the 1/0 to a distribution block and then a small run of 4ga from there to the amp. Problem solved.

COMPLETELY pointless. Put a fuse next to the battery and call it a day.

Wow Steve! Im honored u posted! So when I want to upgrade, just take out the distro? Because I DONT plan to keep these amps or sub stage. Just wanted to atleast start from somewhere, learn as I go and upgrade in the future but without the hassle of pulling wire back out!

Once the wedding and honeymoon are done I can mess around a little bit more. Im looking into DC or Sundown!
