95legwagon Posted May 12, 2012 Report Share Posted May 12, 2012 did some work for a lady friend that owns a pawn shop.......she gave me a jl audio pro wedge box loaded with 12 w3 subs.... dual 4's...... all i did was some small engine work..... adjusted valves on a old robin 4 stroke, got a newer snowblower running, a chainsaw, and currently working on a lawnmower..... also got to replace the whole case on a 360 slim....(cuz she dropped it) :/ but wut do u guys think? deal??? i think so! thinkn bout using them for a lil then selling them and making a decent profit opinions? 95legwagon Posted May 13, 2012 Author Report Share Posted May 13, 2012 well..... the valves took me literally bout 10 minutes ( its an ohv engine), chainsaw (20 mins. about), snowblower.... id say bout 1 hour..... the other 2 i still hafta do. lawn mower will prolly take bout 45 minutes and 360 prolly the same. so thats like 5 hours for a set of subs and a box that retail for over $300 easily..... id say win lol but get this: some guy bought them and brought them back an hour later saying they were blown cuz they didnt work. dumbass didnt check the terminal cup to make sure the wires were connected on the inside lmao. so i "fixed" that too lol ( 2 minutes) got them hooked up and they do alright for being on a sony xplod 1000w bridged @ 4 ohms...they need more power though.... not nearly enough for them....and maybe a ported box.....
