certifiednut
you could try and put duct tape on the shim so you can get a better grip, and a more even pull. i would put a piece all the way around on it, on the inside these orphans aren't going to feast on themselves
skittlesRgood
my guess is that once you get the shim out you will find that the former is not centered and will be rubbing. thats whats causing the shim to be stuck. in the future, cause i have no other ideas for now, use long skinny strips. this way you can pull one out at a time. they wont ever get stuck that way. i always just cut up an empty soda carton. hmm... twisting is usually the way to go with something like this. might try getting a wooden plug to fit inside the shim. get glue all over the plug first. have a T handle coming off the plug. put that plug all the way down to the pole piece where the shim is strongest. give it a twist. If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood. n8ball2013
You're on a two person job now. If its not stuck to the pole piece someone is going to have to push the cone in and out until you can work it out. n8ball2013
Last resort can you reach through the basket any? You may need to grab the coil and work it around in a circular motion almost like simulating coil rock and see if you can work it loose that way. If none of that works put light power to it. If the cone moves it won't be too terribly bad. Not something you ever really want to do but if you're facing a recone anyways you might as well try it THERE IS NO BUILD LOG! 1998 Chevy Silverado ext cab Alpine CDA-9887 4 Team Fi 15s 2 Ampere Audio TFE 8.0 2 Ampere Audio 150.4 3 Digital Designs CS6.5 component sets Dual Mechman 370XP Elite alternators inbound! 8 XS Power d3400 6 XS power d680 Second Skin Stinger Tsunami Wiring Sky High A Real Voltmeter not a piece of shit stinger. I am guessing its messed up from all the pushing and pulling. It still reads perfectly too this is one costly ass mistake. 2013 Dodge Charger Build Log 1996 Ford Explorer XLT 5.0Build Log 2005 Honda Civic LX Coupe Build Log SMD SUPER SELLER!!!!My Selling Feedback
