mrd6
for sq you will definitely want to be able to play down that low. I know in some sq judging tracks there are even sub 20hz notes that judges listen for My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL

mrd6
Yeah in general thats true. There is still some very low frequency material present in high quality recorded tracks though. Like a kick drum may have a fundamental frequency in the 50-60s but there are components of the sound down in the 20hz region that need to be played to have the realism desired in a true sq system. For a more daily "good sounding" system though I agree its generally not necessary to play so low In for suggestions on how to get 2 8s to play so low though, I am trying to do the same with my 2 8s in my room and can't seem t get them to play too well below 30 My Build Log: http://www.stevemead...-sundown-power/ Team NorthWestSPL
