What does FS mean

Recommended Posts

Too many people pay too much attention to FS, not realizing theyre looking at a spec free air. Calculate and find f3

Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?

It is the free air resonant frequency of the cone.

TeamHT - You are correct, but Fs plays a big part in the system F3. If you tune too far below Fs, you can end up with a dip in the response between Fs and the tuning frequency.
