CUT BUDDY
do u think 10 yrds and 4 gallons would be enough to do a 18ft3 enclosure? depends on the mat you use really. I would brace it and then glass it on the inside. Whatever you get will be a benefit so just do what you can. yea I was gonna use 2x2s for bracing and do 2 layers of dat mat and seal the corners like u did. I'll probably just use a couple of cans of dynospray on and a light sanding on the inside. I hear spraying the inside with dynospray helps. What is the purpose of sanding the edges? Does it cut down on turbulance noise or something? Quote TEAM MechMan Alternators
CUT BUDDY
Steve, Do u sand the edges on the ports to cut down on turbulance noise in the port or is it just to make the box look better? Oh yea and If I had 4 subs would it make any difference if I chambered them of like 2 in each chamber and 2 ports. If not I'll just make 1 big box with 1 big port. CUT BUDDY
:^Cool, I appreciate that Steve and Disdatchevy. I always wondered why u did that with the ports. Hey steve do ur amps get hot under ur box? I wanted 2-MM4000.1Ds or if I come into some money by spring I'll get 4-MM4000.1Ds to fit under mine. Its gonna be about the same size box as urs but Imma be using 15" BTLs though. The amps are about 2.5" thick and I was gonna give em about 1" b/w the amp and the bottom of the box so it wont be right up on the amp, would that be ok?
