alaskanzx5 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 maybe take 2 4 or 5" flares and heat them up to the point that they are flexible. then cut and bend the 2 flares to half circles then attach the 2 flares together. to keep it smooth you could use so bondo on the inside of the flare where the flares attached at and sand it smooth then paint it crackle pink? or what ever color you want. the reason i said 5" flasre is because when cutting the flare so you can bend it to a half circle you might loose a some plastic so using 2 4" ports might end up smaller then 8" atleast with the 5" flares you could shorten them as needed. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.

I tape them with duck tape and then I continue to tune and cut away to the size I like. After I find my tuning I fiber glass the ports then install them. CJ18 Posted July 21, 2012 Report Posted July 21, 2012 I know everyone has said subs up and port back, but in a few cases I have gotten better numbers out of the exact same box(airspace wise) with the subs back instead of up. Might be an option to try if it isnt already on your list. Are you looking to just burp a 151?

BassBarbie Posted July 21, 2012 Author Report Posted July 21, 2012 Well Ive been looking everywhere for a new alternator for my edge first i tried Dc Power, they said they will see if they can get one built for me in time but never heard back so i tried singer alts he said he can make one fore sure a 250 amp and 160 at idle. Mechman said they have a prototype being built right now and if tests good I will be able to get that one. Im sure a HO alt should help a ton.
