I go through like 10min phases, artificials, spinners, and then I get desperate and go with the good old fashioned hook and worm lol I don't know what the bottom looks like so I don't know where the elevation changes are. I usually try and poke around the trees in the middle thinking there would be fish hanging out in the roots, or around a few fallen trees. Unlike a few other local places this pond is thriving with life. Surface bugs, vegetation, small fish on the shore line, bluegill up to about 15' out and I'm assuming bigger fish beyond that I just can't seem to get a grip on where they are hanging out. -Drew Quote I am a United States Military Arts and Crafts Professional. On windy days I have to tie off to one of the trees in the middle of the pond. So far I have caught NOTHING of interest. Just about a hundred 5-8" bluegill... On the fishing scale, I am one step above the kid with the stick and a few feet of string. Even with a full tackle box and my own pontoon boat I still can't seem to catch anything. -Drew Bwaht!?
