Router bits

I figured I would ask my question in here rather than starting a new thread.

What bit is used to cut holes for the subwoofer? Spiral Down Cutting?

I understand you have to make several passes with a bit, but can the bit reach down if its a double baffle, 1.5"? Or do you do each board seperate then glue?

Can a standerd non-plunge router work for cutting circles for subwoofer?

I've found little deatailed information on cutting circles for subwoofers so far, or I'm just looking in the wrong spot :D

i use the down spiral bit for 3/4 i do it in one pass any thing thicker i like to do multiple passes. i use a standard router for mine but a plounge router is easier

you use a flush trim but to cut circles?

Sorry it's like a flush trim with a triagle at the top to plunge into the wood

So it is a spiral down bit then, cool. Are there different lengths of that bit or will all of them reach down 3/4"?
