yungw33z
i have 2 dual 2 ohm 12'' SA12's from day 1 of purchase i wired them at 2 ohms on my trx700d which will put out 530 rms. they didn't play so i figured it wasn't enough power to power them so i re wired them to .5 oms and they played @.5 ohms my amp gives them 700 rms. i just bought a new Vibe Blackbox Bass 5 amp that puts out 1500 rms @ 2 ohms i wired my subs to 2 ohms for 1500 rms and they didn't play so i wired them back to .5 ohms and then they played. can some 1 tell me why my subs won't play on a 2 ohm load, please my subs are not even 3 months old and i don't want to have them wired at such a low load because of SQ i would like them at 2 ohms, but they wont play at 2 ohms please some 1 explain this to me if you can thank you. cloud77
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurations.asp?Q=2&I=22 ohm's law. Your subs do whatever you tell them to. my guess is that it is your amp/other that was going on during your install. 2004 Grand Prix GT (2) 12" RE XXXs (04/05 XBL^2) 5 cu. ft tuned @ 35 Hz MMATS HD4000.05 MMATS SQ4100 Infinity Kappa components Juice Box black cherry Duralast platinum group 34 1/0 KNU OFC, 2/0 welding Singer 250A
