Sean Lorbeske
i need someone to give me a ported box design for 2 kicker cvr 12 dual 2 ohm im kind of a noob and iv looked all over for a program that gave me specs and measurement but not eactly what i want i would like a box tuned to about 35hz with seperate chambers and the ports in the center of the box im limited to 13 high by 42 wide The separate chamber design is larger and heavier and has no significant advantages over the common chamber unless you are using independent amplifiers and want to avoid careful gain matching, for free I can submit you a box I did for another member a while ago: Enclosure Specifications: Fb = 35 Hz Vb = 4.5 ft^3 External Height = 13 in External Width = 39.25 in External Depth = 29.25 in Port Width = 5 1/2 in Cut Sheet List: * All Dimensions in Inches. * Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts. External Enclosure Parts: Front = 33 x 11 1/2 Front Internal = 31 1/2 x 11 1/2 Back = 39 1/4 x 11 1/2 Left & Right Sides: Side 1 = 27 3/4 x 11 1/2 Side 2 = 28 1/2 x 11 1/2 Top & Bottom = 39 1/4 x 29 1/4 L Port Internal Assembly Parts: Front to Back = 21 1/4 x 11 1/2 Hope it helps. the depth is a bit big it would be one tight squeeze

Joe X
Changed the original post, 23" deep is the tightest I'll go and maybe it will sound a quite a bit tight.. if you can't do 23" then take the previous spec and build inside the trunk. Also you need some free airspace in front of the port (around the port width) make sure you have about that much.
