Mine is at 22 htz ... Love it !!!

Again, having a flat response is meaningless if it comes with a sloppy roll-off slope.

What would make you think in any way that I would have a sloppy roll-off slope ??

Just because I'm tuned low doesn't mean in any way that I could not play higher bass notes ...

I play just as many bass CDs as I do SQ CDs ... loudly !!!

If your looking for SQ, tuning your box in the low 20's isn't a solid idea. SQ and Decaf don't exactly go together. :nea:

i fully agree with this.

tune to low 20's for your home theater. Stay in the 30's to 40's for car audio depending on your taste in music.

I may not be awy where as loud as you Steve, but I really wish you could demo my truck ...

Ray designed my enclosures to play all around sub bass frequiency music as well as get VERY low ...

I vouch for this. Truck plays very flat but clean. Very quick sounding system- if it is violently shaking the dash while playing BlueRay movies, or if it is playing kick drums on an Eagles CD. Very Impressive.

Maybe this is where I was misunderstood. I only meant a sealed box was better in most cases for your roll-off slope, not that ported fails at it.

EDIT: Not to mention there is usually an improvement in transient response with a sealed box or a bandpass.

I'm gonna hate
