I just got the final part in today for the first one and got it done so I thought I'd post it here. I may end up doing the rear sight block conversion and new gas tube on this one so I can install the upper hand guard but it's an expensive part. The second saiga 12 will be tactical and going to my dad, I'm just waiting on him to decide what parts he wants for it and then I'll get started on that one too. I've personally never liked the AK based 12 gauges, because I want soft body armor penetration capabilities from an AK platform and obviously 12 gauge aint doin' it. If my state allowed short barreled shotguns I'd SBS one in a hearbeat. Have you thought about cutting the barrel down and welding the flash hider so the barrel is 18" overall? Looks good man! ETA: I find it interesting you didn't polish the single hook tapco FCG but you polished the rails. I installed a FCG that I polished with a Ryobi polishing compound kit I got from Menard's and it's butter smooth, even more smooth than a pre-89 ban chinese FCG. Halla.

Yeah I snapped that pic when I was describing to a friend what a bitch the shepherds crook really is and it's on all the way now. I have thought about chopping the barrel but I'm gonna leave it alone for now. Lastly I messed around and test fit everything and the Tapco FCG was very smooth just stock because of the upgraded hammer spring. When I went out and fired it for the first time it had a missfeed a few times and I realized it was the bolt carrier scraping on the rails, so I ground them down and now it slides like glass!
