IndianaBassHead
What's up everybody? I have a bit of a dilemma. I've been thinking a lot about switching from 2 AQ HDC3 18's walled at 36hz to 4 Obsidian 18's in a 4th order. The AQ's are running on a crescendo bc3500d at one ohm. The obsidian's would be the same. Is it worth the money for the subs and new box for the 4th order? Or will the AQ's be just as loud walled? Sorry about the title. Apparently I can't spell. lol Edited July 6, 2012 by Dylan Martin Quote Audio Build Ride: 2002 Chevy Blazer 4 door Head Unit: Pioneer deh-80prs Subs: 4 DC Level 3 15's in a 4th order wall designed by Trent Choate and Jeff Smith Subs Amp: AQ 3500.1 at wired at .5 (soon to be 2) Mids/Highs Amp: Skar 85.4 Mids/Highs: Skar components Electrical: Mechman 270 amp alt, 2 runs of Knu 0 gauge, XS Power d3400, 2 Deka Group 9a31 Build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167658-indianabasshead-blazer-dc-audio-4th-order-wall-build/ Perfomance Build 2003 Nissan 350z Greddy Twin Turbo, 3" Test pipes with Borla high-flow cats, Crawford Performance Plenum, Greddy E-manage Ultimate ECU Exedy Racing Clutch, Built Motor by Racing Innovations Greddy Over-fender aero kit (1 of 20 ever made), 19" Racing Hart r5 pro wheels 466rwhp Bike 2008 Midnight Blue Kawasaki ZX-14 Stretched 8" and lowered, Brocks Sidewinder exhaust, Power Commander

Sanitarium
I like ~my~ 4th order. it works well for my situation. If i had a wallable vehicle, i'd just do a straight wall though.
IndianaBassHead
Well I've only heard a couple of them, which were all at slamology. But if you guys think I'm better off with my AQ's walled, I'll keep it that way and save myself the time and $. EdgarG0721
Why 2 18s walled and 4 18s on a 4th order wouldn't u want to compare 4 18s ported instead of 2 ? It would be a smaller box even. With 4 ported
john253a
just get another 1 or 2 aq 18 and increase the wall, all i can say is, do what best for you, fuck what everyone else is doing
