I respectfully disagree. That said, I like this forum, and find its slower pace (and overall more positive feel) very nice. I browse a lot of forums, and this is one of my favs! You really do have to try to get Banned. You have to be a complete douche bag or just an annoying fuck and not follow the rules. I know, I did it when I first joined the forum. I learned my lesson and came back as a contributing member instead of a keyboard warrior who talks too much. Its so easy for someone to sit behind a keyboard and talk a big tough game, and its those guys that get banned from the site. This is more than just a car audio website, if you stick around long enough this becomes a community of like minded people that understand our addiction to loud music and gut wrenching bass. Sure, you can go to a fucking JUNGLE like ca.com and say what you want to whoever you want, totally start shit for no reason and all the other losers can all pile on and join in making it a big shit talking fuckfest. But any other RESPECTABLE site won't put up with that nonsense, like this one. I am a member of other RESPECTABLE forums and if you breathe wrong on them you get a warning and possible ban. I got a warning the other day and i just laughed, knowing it wasn't even a big deal but i got my hand slapped HARD. Compared to this place, that is nothing. We don't put up with much shit here but we are also more laid back then others and i don't really care what you think. If you are an asshole, a thief, spammer or otherwise trouble maker, your time here will be short. the people who do most of the complaining fall into one of those categories, or one similar that wasn't mentioned. We are MORE than fair with issuing warnings and giving someone time away to correct their behavior and if they want to return and contribute to our family here then all is well... This is a more "close knit" community and thats great. But the list of things you "cant do" on this forum is LONG. no vs threads, etc. its your forum (and im a fan of it) and you can run it as you see fit. That doesnt make it any more open and welcoming.
