OrionStang
SPL guys, can you tell me if i've got the right idea? Box is pushed back, collar to the seat opening, then sealed off there. Alpine already suggested the sub placement be as far as possible from the port. I'll be doing a new baffle to fix that. OrionStang
Going to shorten the port 6 inches and move the box forward to the seat opening. It peaked at 33 set up like it is now. Want to get it to 36 or so. Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
Ninja_v1.0
stang, From my testing and the testing of others ( thor, brocks,) to name a few. The loudest is with the box as far BACK as possible. Further from the seat not closer. just my .02 Quote When your at the top everyone is coming for you, friends, family, haters and even those who don't know you.. my advice.. OrionStang
Right now its far back as it can go. However, that collar I added to it creates a 4th order effect and lowers tuning. Can you suggest how I should do that part differently? Don't worry about sealing off? Or?? Quote SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
SlamminBeats
what does adding the over hang piece do for you? i like the piece on the floor in front of the box with the rest flat.
ALPINE408
The collar is good shorten port move sub to the pass side is what I would do Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown?
