It's a release-day (10/17/06) 20GB model and it's still using software version 3.00, which I understand is only a couple versions shy of having its Linux ability removed. Why is it just sitting with ancient software? Well, it was used for games a lot some years ago, and since then has really just been a blu-ray player. Does anyone think it's of any significant value? P.S. kirill007 Posted July 20, 2012 Report Posted July 20, 2012 Nope, it's not worth anything more then a standard used ps3, probably even less then newer used models because it has less features. Once you open the box, things aren't going to get valuable. Thinking is the root of all problems... You ALWAYS get what you pay for.
