That's really all I've done and have had no problems with air escaping from the box. This what I do on all of mine. Title bond 2 glue and dap caulk. Pro7 Posted July 25, 2012 Report Share Posted July 25, 2012 Elmer's Wood Filler I used this on my last box when there was a noticeable gap and I will keep a container of that stuff around for every other box build I do. It was a lot easier to manage into the right shape than when I mix sawdust and titebond III (not sure if since I used III that would hurt) but then after it dried in a couple hours, since it was a decent sized gap, it was really easy to sand square and fit perfect.
