why would you waste the time, money, and deadener on the back of the seats?? Let me guess the other deadener you had installed is on the outside of the vehicle too?

I have thought about doing this too but i'm not sure it would even help. It might even hurt your spl. I'm in a trunk car also and the back seat is always down. The carpet on my seat has a zipper at the sides though and Velcro at the bottom. I took the carpet off just to see what it would do with the metal frame exposed and i lost a solid .2 db from that change so i put it back.

I did notice though at the Carlisle PA show terry brocks had dynamat on the back of his seats so it might help a little
